Lori Raduenz, CTC
President and Chief Executive Officer

Lori Raduenz is responsible for the strategic direction and general management of Vanguard Travel and has been the company’s president since 1997. During her tenure, Ms. Raduenz has made it her top priority to continuously introduce enhanced services and cutting-edge solutions to Vanguard’s customers. Lori has served on various boards, including Minnesota Executive Women in Tourism and the Upper Midwest Chapter of the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA). Ms. Raduenz is an active member of the North Central Business Travel Association (NCBTA), and a member of the Society of Incentive Travel Executives (SITE).

 

Ms. Raduenz holds a Master of Business Administration from The Carlson School of Management, and an undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota. She also holds the Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) designation.

 

Dave Heim
Director of Business Development

David Heim oversees Vanguard’s marketing, business development and strategic growth efforts. His accomplishments include expanding the company’s roster of corporate accounts and adding new leisure travel customers. Dave’s prior agency managerial experience has allowed him to collaborate in bringing process improvements to Vanguard.

 

Prior to joining Vanguard in 2002, Dave owned and operated Discovery Travel; a company he founded, which grew to be one of the 20 largest agencies in the Twin Cities. Mr. Heim holds a BA in Economics from Hamline University.

 

Suzanne Stavnes, CTC
Director of Operations

Suzanne Stavnes oversees the operations of Vanguard’s corporate travel division; responsible for service delivery, customer satisfaction, process innovation and employee development. Her efforts have resulted in the improved efficiency of Vanguard’s operations, and improved consistency in the services Vanguard provides to corporate customers.

 

Ms. Stavnes’ travel agency management experience spans over 25 years. An innovative and dedicated leader, Suzanne brings considerable project management experience, call center fulfillment operations, marketing and client service experience to her current role at Vanguard Travel. Suzanne holds the Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) designation.

 

Doug Moorhouse
Director of Group & Leisure Services

Doug Moorhouse is responsible for the management of Vanguard’s incentive, group and leisure travel operations. In this role he oversees sales and program management, group air ticketing and customer service. Doug is responsible for maintaining relationships with industry suppliers, and keeping his own and his staff’s destination and product knowledge up-to-the-minute.

 

Doug has more than 24 years of experience in the travel industry, and his expertise has allowed Vanguard to expand its menu of group and leisure travel offerings. Before joining Vanguard in 2005, Doug held managerial positions with some of the region’s most prominent retail and wholesale group travel companies. Mr. Moorhouse is actively involved in the Society of Incentive and Travel Executives (SITE) and the Upper Midwest Chapter of the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA).
